Let´s make 2024 a year of positive thinking. I came across this chart for the entire year in the yoga book. I decided to focus on it this year and cultivate more peace and joy through those ´mantras´ guidance. I invite you to join me in this. :)
We focus on the Law of Karma, that doing good deeds attracts goodness to us and conversely that doing bad deeds attracts badness. And the same applies to our thoughts – good thoughts attract a positive reaction and negative thoughts attract a bad reaction. That’s why it’s important to keep noticing our thoughts, explore our mind, and through doing so, live life with less fear and pain. And instead, attract more joy and happiness.
How to use the chart? As it says in the book: ‘Start each day by concentrating on the quality of the month, shown below. Allow its energy to vibrate in your mind and visualize the benefits of interacting with others using this quality. Repeat once during the day, then end your day with a short meditation on that thought. By the end of the month, you will have developed a habit of positive thinking.’
You can also write down the 'mantra' of the month in some visible place to keep reminding yourself about it.
